What strikes me most about this verse is that God doesn't tell us not to feel afraid - He tells us to be strong and courageous in spite of our fear. And then He gives us the reason why we can: because He goes with us. Not behind us, not ahead of us, but with us.

The promise isn't just that He'll be there - it's that He will never leave us. Never. Not when the path gets dark, not when we make mistakes, not when everyone else walks away. He's committed to walking every step of this journey with us.

In my own journey, I've learned that I don't have to be brave enough for the whole mountain - I just need to be brave enough for the next step, knowing I'm not taking it alone.
